Data Management Consultant

Southport is currently looking for experienced Data Management consultants of various levels to join our team. We are looking for motivated individuals with experience in Informatica PowerCenter and other Informatica offerings like MDM, Data Quality, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with full life cycle development using any ETL or data management technology.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience configuring, implementing, designing, and developing in Informatica PowerCenter OR Informatica Data Quality.
  • Proficiency with creation and modification of Unix scripts.
  • Ability to design multidimensional data warehouse structures such as star schemas, cubes, etc.
  • Strong business and analytical skills including direct interaction with business end-users for requirements analysis.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work product in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Consulting experience.

Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

Southport is currently looking for experienced Business Intelligence consultants to join our team. We are looking for motivated individuals with experience in the MicroStrategy product suite.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years working as a MicroStrategy specialist with large databases/data warehouses in a team environment.
  • Proficient in developing use cases, functional and technical requirements.
  • Experience working with architects and development teams to ensure feasibility of requirements.
  • Experience working with quality assurance teams to ensure requirements are testable.
  • Have led requirements for report development projects to successful completion.
  • Proven ability facilitating negotiation of competing requirements among stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with one or more major relational database management system.
  • Experience with ETL processes and technologies a plus.
